How REBEL transformed Vivobarefoot's PPC from a line item into a profitable global growth channel, across Google, Bing and Amazon in more than sixteen markets.

Vivobarefoot, a pioneer in minimalist footwear, wanted more than to navigate paid search: the ambition was to transform PPC from a mere line item into a powerhouse of profitability and efficiency, while casting the digital net across the globe.
The mission was twofold. First, elevate PPC into a genuinely profitable marketing channel marked by real efficiency. Second, broaden the digital footprint internationally, targeting North America, Europe and the rest of the world with precision.
The campaign's reach was ambitious: the UK and North America, then Germany, France, Spain and a dozen further countries, each with its own language, competition and buying behaviour. Expansion at that scale usually dilutes efficiency.
The target said otherwise: paid search had to exceed its return-on-ad-spend goal while it scaled, not trade profitability for reach.
A best-in-class combined search approach that leveraged the strengths of Google and Bing while embracing the untapped potential of Amazon, capturing consumers at every stage of the buying journey on whichever platform they used to search.
Native-language speakers behind every market, so campaigns resonated with each audience rather than reading like translations.
Google, Bing and Amazon each chosen for where they meet the buying journey, capturing a wide spectrum of consumers.
Profitability and return as the target, not spend or traffic, with budget following the markets that earned it.
